The Department of Design of the Politecnico di Milano presented 43 design experiments for the Basso Monferrato area in an exhibition open to the public, developed by 200 students from the School of Design and the POLI.Design consortium of Politecnico di Milano, and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan.
Students designed 43 future scenarios for the territory and some specific places in Albugnano, Aramengo, Ferrere, and Pino d’Asti villages. Projects have been presented through thematic topics: sports and nature (projects related to sports activities or exploration of the territory), wellness and recreation (projects of spaces and services dedicated to the local community and tourists); art and creativity (projects related to creative activities, and focused on the Romanesque church routes), food and territory (projects related to food and wine, and on biodiversity and sustainability).
