SAVE THE DATE!

The Royal Library of Belgium will gather scientists and cultural actors researchers from Europe and elsewhere whose work is directly related to civil society initiatives that target “reclaiming” public space in contemporary cities.

The symposium is intended for researchers and students, but also practitioners, public authorities and all those who are involved in the city. Workshops that will follow these scientific conferences will give a more practical experience and moments of exchange.

This symposium is part of a larger festival that will propose several public events and urban walks, for children and adults, in collaboration with some cultural actors such as; the CINEMATEK, Turtlewings, Time Circus, Thomas Laureyssens and Jes/Yota! who will usually work with teenagers on the appropriation of public space.

We will keep you informed via our website and facebook page.

We hope to meet you soon in Brussels and enjoy this festival with you!
